Ham and Potato Chowder

From Pillsbury again ....

In a large saucepan, combine and bring to a boil:
7.8 oz. pkg Au Gratin Potatoes
seasoning packet
1 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham
1/2 c. carrot
1/4 t. pepper
3 c. water
2 c. milk

Reduce heat to medium; cook 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender
Add:
1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped


I used real ham, added more carrot and used dried parsley.

Not highly impressed.
